“I came to Duo specifically for matcha, something I occasionally do on Mondays. I ordered a hot matcha with oat milk and clearly requested that it be hot, not warm. I also ordered a mini butter croissant. Before stepping away, I returned to the counter to confirm that the matcha would be hot, and the cashier assured me it would be. What I received was a warm matcha and a regular sized croissant instead of the mini. I kept the croissant since I was charged for it, but asked that the matcha be remade. Unfortunately, the remade drink was still warm and tasted more like warm milk than matcha. At that point, the issue was not just temperature but quality and preparation. It only takes one bad experience to lose a customer. Especially a very fixable experience.”
